Vasco Ventura (CHE) is young and upcoming dancer and the son of the choreographer Pablo Ventura. He studied dance at the Dance Academie of Zurich (taZ) on the Zurich University of the Arts. He has danced in many projects including Carnival of the Animals from Alexei Kremnev; In the same Breath, from Duncan Rownes; Ballet Egyptienne from Jean-Guilliame Bart; Piazolla from Filipe Portugal; Giacomo’s Joy von Roberta Martins; and Lalo Celebration from Jean-Guilliame Bart. Further dance experience has been under choreographers Kinsun Chan, Jochen Heckmann, Beate Vollack, Roberta Martins, Marina Stocker-Diakova, Heron Nobre de Farias, and Eldar Aliev. In 2017, Vasco Ventura was the recipient of a Migros-Stipendiums.
Arthur Clay (CHE) is a a composer and sound artist who is a specialist in the performance of self created works with the use of intermedia. He has appeared at international festivals, on radio and television television in Europe, Asia & north America. His recent work focuses on media based and large performative works culminating in spectacles that exploit the use of mobile communication technologies. He has won prizes for performance, theatre, new media art and curation. As a composer, he has written works for number of soloists and chamber ensembles including Fritz Hauser, Imke David, Malcom Goldstein, Guenter Heinz, Tytus Miecznikowski, Gábor Varga, Sylvia Noper, Mattias Wursch u.a. He has taught music and sound art in Seoul at Sogang University media and interactive arts at various Art Schools and Universities in Europe, North America, and Asia including ZHdK, NCCU Taipei, Fachschule Nordwest Switzerland amongst others
Pablo Ventura (CHE) is a choreographer and media artist. In 1986, he founded the Ventura Dance Company in London for which he created numerous dance works in London, Madrid and Zurich. Other works include Installations and choreographies for contemporary operas, films and video dances. Since 1997 Pablo Ventura has been working with computer software and has created performances and exhibitions using the possibilities of modern technology and in collaboration with video artists, software designers, robot artists, and electronic music composers. To date, he has created nine full-evening media dance productions. As a 2007 participant in the Artist’s In Labs“ program, he developed software that automatically creates autonomous computer choreography. This working method exploits an area of tension between traditional means of dance and the expression of computer-aided dance in interaction with new media. The works created can be seen as a reflection without a message on the topic of ”man and machine‘ with the human body set in the context of it‘s spreading technical surroundings. Alessandro Friggerrio (CHE) In 2009, he received a masters degree in new media from the Zurich Hochschule der Kuenste. Since then, he has explored photography in a diverse range of settings for both artistic and commercial endeavors. Working closely collaboration with Arthur Clay, he co-created several works exploring new technologies. In “Blinded by Juggling”, indeterminate relations between technology and humans becomes prevalent when visitors interact with a video of the Swiss drummer Fritz Hauser video using the Blind Juggler of Raffello D’Andrea to combine robotics and live performance. For MetroNext+ he assisted in creating a virtual rendition of Auguststrasse with photogrammetry that was then shown as part of ZHMNY Festival in Grand Central Station.
