Where the Rain Comes In is a “static dance work” in the framework of new media genre. The work exploits new technologies such as Augmented Reality and Photogrammetry and uses these to explore the relationship between what is human in technology and what is humane in technology. Live dancers are replaced with 3D scanned objects of al dancer using photogrammetry and then implementing the resultand scans as “static dance-objects” and then set into motion solely with computer driven choreography.
